Anyway, when you hear about environmental estrogens and male fertility, they’re not talking about phytoestrogens—plant estrogens. They’re talking about xenoestrogens—human-made chemicals, like PCBs and pesticides, that can have estrogenic effects. Where are they found the most? Fish.

So, it follows that the “highest…concentrations were found in urban fish eaters, followed by rural fish eaters, [then] urban vegetarians, [and with the lowest levels in] rural vegetarians.”
