Part-Time Research Assistant

Position Summary:

NutritionFacts.org is seeking a detail-oriented, part-time Research Assistant to support our research team in converting writing from Dr. Greger’s books into video content. The Research Assistant will be a contract position focused on one main project: converting pre-existing book content into video scripts.

Key Responsibility:

Convert book sections into video scripts formatted using NutritionFacts.org annotation style

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently
Strong written communication skills
Ability to learn and adhere to NutritionFacts.org’s video annotation style

Preferred Qualifications:

Background or demonstrated experience in biomedical, health, or science-related topics
Experience with editing in a professional or academic setting
Experience reading and synthesizing scientific papers is helpful but not required
Experience interpreting scientific figures and tables is helpful but not required

This is a part-time, contract position. The role is fully remote and international candidates are encouraged to apply.

Location: Remote
Pay: per script based on local market rates
Workload: a minimum of 10 hours a week
