Recipe Support Volunteer Application

Thanks for applying to our volunteer program! NutritionFacts.org curates many healthy plant-based recipes and we want those recipes to be accessible for as many people as possible. We are looking for help converting recipes to include both imperial and metric units.

Role

Review website recipes and update them to include metric units.

Requirements

• Experience cooking plant-based meals
• Experience with both metric and imperial measurements
• Ability to spot and correct errors in converted quantities

Responsibilities

• Update new and existing recipes with metric quantities
• Research weights and measures for quantities as needed
• Ensure converted recipes appear correctly on the website
• Communicate with NutritionFacts.org staff regarding progress

Reports to: Global Volunteer Director or Web Developer
