Jicama Mango Salad
Featuring jicama, mango, jalapeño, and citrus fruits for a sweet, spicy, and zesty flare. This refreshing salad can be enjoyed year round.
Ingredients
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- ¼ cup fresh lemon juice
- ½ cup chopped cilantro
- 2 cups peeled and julienned jicama
- 3 cups peeled and sliced mango
- 1 jalapeno, seeded and diced
- 1 cup minced red onion
- Zest of 1 orange
- Orange pieces, to taste
- Lemon zest, to taste
- Lemon pepper, to taste (optional)
- Black pepper, to taste
- Sliced radishes (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Mix the garlic, lemon juice, and cilantro. Season with lemon pepper and black pepper to taste.
- Add the remaining ingredients, toss lightly, and serve. Garnish with sliced radishes, if desired.
