Sensational Tahini–Dill Dressing

This Sensational Tahini–Dill Dressing is a quick and delicious sauce that can be used in a variety of ways. Serve it over grain and bean bowls, chopped salads, roasted potatoes, or pasta salads. 
For a Balsamic Tahini–Dill Dressing, add ¼ cup (60 ml) of balsamic vinegar to the blender with the rest of the ingredients.

  • ¼ cup raw tahini
  • cup lemon juice 
  • lemon zest, to taste (optional) 
  • ¾ cup water
  • ¾ oz pitted dates (approximately 1 Medjool or 3 Deglet Noor dates)
  • 1 tablespoon dried dill 


  • Place all of the ingredients into a blender, and blend until smooth. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
